What is the Slide Toolbar?
The Slide Toolbar allows you to preview slides and transcripts and add slides to Custom PPT (if available). You can create new Custom PPT collections from here as well.
Accessing the Slide Toolbar
When a presentation has the Slide Toolbar enabled, each slide in the presentation may be previewed within the Toolbar. If the content is enabled for Custom PPT use, the Slide Toolbar provides the ability to select slides to add to a Custom PPT collection. The Slide Toolbar and Custom PPT features are only available for select content in vPortal. If a presentation has Custom PPT enabled, a Build Custom PPT incon will be visible when searching for a presentation or when browsing presentations in an event. After clicking Browse, thumbnail previews of the slides in a presentation will be displayed. Place your mouse cursor over any slide title to activate the Slide Toolbar for that slide; the display area of the Toolbar will be updated with the current thumbnail for that slide. The Slide Toolbar Options
The Slide Toolbar options are visible on the right side of the screen, above the thumbnail images of the slides. The toolbar has three tabs: View, Info, and Add to Custom PPT (if available). Each tab is described below.
The View Tab
By default, the Slide Toolbar opens to a thumbnail view of the slide image under the View tab. The default size of the thumbnail is small. Click and hold View to preview a full-size image. On the upper-right corner of the image is a magnifying glass that allows you to expand the slide to a larger image and contract it back down to thumbnail size. Note: when you use the magnifying glass, the Slide Toolbar will maintain the expanded view of the slide image as you move your cursor over other slide titles. Also, when in expanded view, the 'Add to Custom PPT' menu options will appear as an overlay on the large slide image. Therefore, you can maintain an expanded view of the slides as you add them to your Custom PPT collection. The Info Tab
To access the Info tab, roll your cursor over a slide title to activate the Slide Toolbar for that slide. Between View and Add to Custom PPT, is the Info tab. The following information appears in the Info layer:
