Accessing My Q&A

 

Users can now ask presenters and bloggers questions about their content.  If you are a presenter or blogger, you will be notified of new questions via My Q&A. If you ask a question, you will be notified of answers via M Q&A. You can access My Q&A two ways:

 

1.By clicking on My Q&A under the My vPortal menu.

2.By clicking on My Q&A in the title of the My Q&A gadget.

Asking a Question

 

To ask a blogger or presenter a question, click the Comments/Question link or tab to navigate to the submission form:

Click 'submit' after typing your question. The presenter or blogger will receive notification of your question.

 

Answering a Question

 

Presenters and Bloggers are the only people who can answer questions posted to their content.

 

There are several paths you can take to answer a question from another user:

 

Go to My Q&A page and click 'Answer' underneath the question. A box will open where you can answer the question inline.

In the My Q&A gadget, click 'Answer' next to the question to go directly to the question with the answer box open inline on the blog entry or presentation page.

When viewing your blog entries or presentations, the 'Answer' button appears inline with the questions. You can click the button and answer the questions inline.

After clicking 'answer', the following submission for will appear:

Viewing Answers

 

There are several ways for you to view answers to your questions:

 

New answers will appear in the My Q&A gadget. Click 'view' to be taken directly to the answer inline on the blog or presentation page.

Go to My Q&A and select the My Questions tab. Answers to your question will appear under your questions.

When viewing the blog entry or presentation about which you asked a question, answers will appear under the questions.
